Engr Muhammad Suhaimi Hj Sulong is a lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). He received his M.Sc. in Microelectronics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2005, B.Eng. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering (Computer Engineering) from UTHM in 2002, Diploma and Certificate in Electronics Engineering (Computer Technology) from Politeknik Ungku Omar in 1999 and Politeknik Port Dickson in 1998 respectively and Certificate in Computer Studies from South Kent College (UK) in 1996. He is a member of the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineer (IEEE) (USA), member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG) (Hong Kong), member of International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE) (Austria), graduate member for Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and registered engineer of Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). Before entered as Academics at UTHM, he acted as Training Engineer at PERNEC Corporation Berhad and Technical Assistant at Jatikom Sdn Bhd. He is a joint founder of Microelectronics and Nanotechnology–Shamsuddin Research Centre (MiNT-SRC) UTHM which was established in November 2006 and acting Research Group Leader in VLSI Design & Microelectronic Technology Unit. Furthermore, he had the opportunity to join the Nano Research Group in the School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, United Kingdom to render his expertise. His current research interests include low-voltage, low-power, and high-performance integrated-circuit design, modelling of semiconductor devices, and emerging integrated-circuit technologies. He is actively in research including collaboration with industries such as MIMOS, ON Semiconductor, Infineon Technologies, Silterra to name a few and has published number of journals and proceedings at national and international level. Moreover, he had received multiple awards in both academic and non-academic. Currently, he is a Visiting Scholar at University of South Australia, Australia.
